Disrupting surgical treatment of severe haemorrhoids
Developeration partnered with Fjaryl in their pioneering development of PexyEazy®, a breakthrough single-use medical device that standardizes state-of-the-art suturing techniques and enables highly efficient treatment of severe haemorrhoids.
PexyEazy was designed around the needs of both clinicians and patients. For staff, the device ensures ease of use, intuitive handling, and a reduced risk of errors. For patients, it eliminates the need for general anesthesia and provides minimal pain, faster recovery, and fewer complications compared to traditional surgery.
Backed by two international patents, PexyEazy® has shown outstanding early clinical results, including an 80% reduction in symptoms and 40% of patients needed no pain medication.

Impact
~95%
of haemorrhoid cases treatable in a single, short procedure
15 min
procedure versus 60 min. conventional surgery
1 day
average recovery compared to 2–4 weeks of sick leave
2x
patient throughput
~185kg
CO₂e reduction per procedure thanks to no use of anaesthetic
By replacing lengthy operations with a streamlined approach, it reduces staff needs by 50–60%, doubles clinical profitability through higher throughput and optimized resource use, and further minimizes the carbon footprint, aligning with sustainable healthcare goals.
To enhance usability, the protective sheath ensures a smooth insertion, while a light shuttle illuminates the target anatomy, and integrated slits help to track all suture threads.
Translating the Mucopexy suturing technique into an intuitive, standardized tool, PexyEazy® enables efficient treatment in a simple 15-minute in-office procedure.
The rectal mucosa is automatically folded by the device using vacuum suction and then penetrated by six needles. As the needles are retracted, a suture loop is placed within the mucosa. The haemorrhoids are then repositioned to their normal anatomical location as the surgeon ties the knots.
An adjustable piston secures the correct distal depth of the suture, while the built-in vacuum indicator confirms correct pressure at all times.
